Nandos have stepped up their A-game yet again, this time catering for young and aspiring musicians in London by launching their first in-restaurant recording studio.
In the heart of the capital and if you’re feeling hungry beforehand, the branch are offering professional equipment for up and coming producers and DJ’s alike to get their hands on (make sure they’re clean after that butterfly burger).
Free of charge and visible to diners, successful applicants will be able to test industry standard equipment, such as the latest Pioneer CDJ’s, a Neumann U87 microphone and the most advanced version of Ableton, right at their fingertips. Not to mention a studio engineer right there at your request…
The chicken company have been very innovative and creative with their ideas and programmes over the years and with the success of the four-year-strong Nando’s Music Exchange, they’ve been able to stage stellar workshops and live events for the masses.
The likes of Stormzy and Ella Eyre have backed the project in the past and this new studio will in turn be the hub of future workshops throughout the year.
Here’s what a Nando’s chief had to say:
“We’re really excited to open our first music space, both for our growing network of artists but also for our fans looking for a unique experience in restaurant. Some of the best ideas have started over PERi-PERi (or so we’re told), so we’re looking forward to hearing what happens when we bring together chicken and tunes!”
Where is it?
Nando’s, Frith Street (Soho, London)
