Lethal Bizzle, a veteran of grime music with over 15 years experience in the music industry has joined the list of Mentors at Nandos Music Exchange – a 4 day workshop taking place at the Roundhouse in Camden.
During the workshop 38 talented applicants (selected from 150) will be mentored by artists from all over the world, including Lethal Bizzle (repping the UK!), the poet Sho Madjozi from South Africa, Australian Tkay Maidza; and Canadian Nathaniel Motte, best known as one half of popular duo 3OH!3.
On the final day members of the public will have the opportunity to attend panel talks with the artists. More information will be released over the next few weeks.
About Nando’s Music Exchange
Nando’s Music Exchange sparks the exchange of global influences through mentoring, workshops and exposure for emerging talent. Much like adding spicy PERi-PERi to chicken, we believe a serving of Southern African spirit is the secret ingredient to firing up any party. That’s why showcasing talent from our homeland will always be an important part of any Nando’s Music Exchange activity.
About the Roundhouse
Each year, the Roundhouse works with over 3,000 11-25s, enabling them to realise their potential through creativity. The Roundhouse aims to work with young people who have been excluded, marginalised or disadvantaged by society, aiding them to find pathways back into education, work or simply to enjoy a wider cultural life. As well as this the Roundhouse offers audiences of all ages new and extraordinary experiences in live music, circus, theatre and digital. www.roundhouse.org.uk
