Cambridge based festival, Strawberries & Creem have announced the line-up for their fifth anniversary edition which is due to take place on Saturday 16th June. The independent festival which is curated by a festival team with an average age of just 24 years old, celebrates the best acts in rap, grime, garage and house.
With a successful previous four festivals, artists such as Skepta, J Hus and Kano have all took to the main stage to showcase the best in UK talent. In previous years, the festival’s throwback element has seen Shaggy and Wiley headlining; this year it’s T-Pain who will be providing a nostalgic feeling to the audience.
The festival will pay homage to the ever expanding grime scene, as grime veteran Ghetts, rising emcee Octavian and Madam X will grace the stage at the one day festival as well as charting afro-sound artists Not3s and Kojo Funds. Other artists who will be taking to the stage include David Rodigan, House of Pharaohs and Shy FX.
Throughout the day, other performances from the likes of DJ Luck & MC Near, Pied Piper, Nay Nay, Crazy Cousinz and House Gospel Choir and all set to cause a madness on Haggis Farm in Cambridge.
Much-loved radio presenter, Rebecca Judd will take on hosting duties to provide the crowd with her infectious personality, humour and general positive vibes.
